- We have prepared a format for exceptions, to be used in the event that it is not possible to use the basic format due to unavoidable circumstances. However, please take all possible steps in order to avoid having our name misread as ‘JAC.’ These may include following up with the pronunciation, and/or writing the name in Japanese characters in another space.
Points to Note When Using Our Company’s Name in Written Content, and the Abbreviated Format
- When using the company name multiple times within a piece of written content, as a general rule, please use the Basic Format: Japanese Text the first time the name appears. After that, it is possible to use that format along with expressions such as ‘we’ or ‘our company.’
- The use of ‘JAC’ as an abbreviated form of our company name is permitted only when the readability of our standard company name would be severely reduced due to narrow, oblong spaces in banners and other forms of advertising.
