When Using English Terms in the Body of Japanese Written Content

- When the language of the tool is Japanese, as a rule, please use Japanese characters within all written sections, such as the lead and the body.
Our reasons for doing this include the aim of making readers aware that ‘JAC’ is pronounced ‘J-A-C,’ rather than ‘JAC.’
- Regarding the writing of ‘kabushiki gaisha’ (‘Co., Ltd.’) and ‘(kabu)’ (the character used in parentheses as a symbol for listed companies), these are to be used only when including them is legally necessary, such as in contracts, or when writing the registered name of the company is required, such as on a company overview.
- If you absolutely must use an English term within a lead or other content written in Japanese, please include katakana to indicate the pronunciation of the English term next to it the first time it appears. (*Refer to the left)
